You are asured with a warm welcome at Allurepark De Thijmse Berg. The park has all modern conveniences and is suitable for both old and young people. It offers annual, seasonal and tourist pitches. We are more than pleased to make your stay a comfortable and carefree one on the hilly grounds of Thijmse Berg.
A professional entertainment team is present during the high season to ensure that neither you nor your children will have a dull moment.
Camping with comfort
Camping in Holland with lots of comfort, that is where this park next to Rhenen and Utrecht stands for. If you either choose for a short stay or rather stay during the high- or lowseason. We offer heated sanitairy blocks, a laundrette and you have the possibility to get hot buns from the bakery every morning. You have also the possibility to reserve a year around pitch on this 5-star camp site. It's not for nothing that this parc has been given a 9 by the ANWB in 2006. True camping for young and old begins here!
Safety for kids first
Do you want to camp with kids? In that case has this parc a lot to offer next to the Veluwe and the Gelderse Vallei, in the province Utrecht. Amenities available for the kids include a heated swimming pool, heated toddlers' pool plus equipment, playgrounds with pirate ship and animation with a kids disco and kids movies on large screen.
You can make nice day trips trough out this parc. The kids will never be bored! Traffic regulations asure you that the camp site is safe. There has also been thought about the youth: for kids from 14 years old there is a DJ who spins music in the skihut.
Seniors
Walking and cycling in peace and quiet during low season. Enjoy the nature and culture. The ANWB has some real nice routes planned out, mostly on cycle tracks.
Walking trough nature
Are you looking for holiday with walking a lot trough the beautifull nature of the Veluwe? Then this is the place to be! You walk from the parc directly trough the woods and enjoy the area of outstanding natural beauty. You can even walk further towards Amerongen to make the holiday even more memorable. Do you prefer historic citywalks? Or a walk trough the Utrecht landscape then this is also a good place to be. Walkingroutes are available at the reception.
Out for dinner
You can enjoy a nice meal à la carte on the parc it selve. But in the invironment of the parc are also lots of restaurants, under which a pancakehouse.
Shopping
Maby one day in your holiday you feel for a day of (clothes) shopping. Rhenen, Amersfoort, Utrecht, Veenendaal, Bennekom are Wageningen within close reach.
Cycling
Activity and holiday go well together, for example when you like to cycle.
Touring along farms, farmland and trough woods enjoying the nature that de Utrechtse Heuvelrug brings you. Renting a bike is also possible on the parc.
You can get a booklet with lots of cycleroutes at the reception.
Do you like speed? We also offer special mountainbik routes. Thes cycle routes take you trough alternate landscapes with steep hills and deep valleys.
Sports and games
What about a nice swim in a heated pool, doesn't that sound good? It belongs to a holiday on a camping. The children can play soccer on a normal field or even a caged soccertrack that's available for them. You also have the possibility to play tennis on the parc.
Zoo
Have a pleasent daytrip to Ouwehands Zoo, you are there in a second!
