De Zeven Linden

Camp site De Zeven Linden is situated on the northern foothills of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. It is located in the sanctuary in the middle of the state forestry area De Vuursche. Within walking distance you have Drakensteyn castle, Soestdijk palace and the idyllic village of Lage Vuursche.
In the early and late season numerous active senior citizens make use of the many special offers and many people book for a weekend. During the high season we mainly accommodate families with children up to the age of 13/14. All camping areas are well covered with grass and many are fitted with playground equipment.

De Zeven Linden is a quiet, attractive camp site with spacious pitches. We have no annual pitches. Various special offers are available in the early and late season. Dogs are only allowed in 'dogs heaven', as long as they are kept on a leash. Party tents are not allowed. The entire camp site is car-free.
The recently renovated open-air swimming pool 'Bosbad de Vuursche' is situated only 600 metres from the camp site.

There are a lot of nice activities for children in the high season.

Lowseason

De Zeven Linden is a camp site par excellence troughout the whole year. You can enjoy the magnificent scenery and sightseeing outside the highseason. "The Heuvelrug" is a popular part of Holland for every season. This is because of the historical outdoor places, castles, gardens, parks and the cities.

Cycling

There are many cycling routes along the nicest places of "the Utrechtse Heuvelrug".
If you want to go for kilometers, to climb or just to observe nature? Come to the reception of our camp site and we can offer you the most enjoyable cycling routes. Last year the most popular ones were the castle routes and the routes to the Palace of Soestdijk.

Walking

Most of the sights to be seen are within walking distance.

Surroundings

Some of the recommendations in the neighbourhood of De Zeven Linden:

  • Castle Drakensteyn: A former house of Queen Beatrix.
  • Lage Vuursche: Fairy-like village with the cosy terraces, shops and a minigolf course.
  • Bosbad De Vuursche: This outdoor swimmingpool is within walking distance from the camp site.
  • Palace of Soestdijk: This famous palace and it's magnificent garden has been recently opened to the public.
  • Kidcity: Indoor kindergarden for children up to 12.
  • Hilvertshof: Indoor shopping centre.

Dogs

Dogs on a leash are more than welcome on our Dogheaven field.
